On a Moonless Night

​Detective Alicia Knowles is down, broken, divorced, and has lost all hope in living. Losing a daughter is not easy, not on anyone. A year later, she is given the opportunity to take her life back. Unfortunately, a new case hits a little too close than she expects it to be. Amidst rising anger and despondency, she needs to figure out if her heart is capable of forgiveness or will wrath continue to gnaw on her soul.

Puting Saranggola (White Kite)

This is a beautiful narrative about innocence lost. In this story, we follow the lives of Ben, Ann and Isko as they traverse the difficult life of an impoverished childhood in the slums of Manila. Ann has a serious heart illness while Ben, her brother tries hard to become a hero for his sister. Isko, a very good friend to Ben is the only person who understands the severity of the problem. He is the only one who bears witness to the family’s struggle as they watch Ann slip away from their lives. Despite this difficult backdrop, there is always promise in the air, something bright at the end of a dark tunnel, making this a story of hope rather than that of loss.
